The ESOL programme is designed to help unemployed individuals improve their language and communication skills enabling them to address their barriers to work and improve their chances of securing employment.

All customers volunteer to join the programme and once engaged through outreach and marketing activity, or on occasion via referral from Jobcentre Plus, individuals are able to access a range of support including basic literacy/numeracy courses, sector focused courses to update workplace skills or existing qualifications, benefits advice, job search, support re: Citizenship applications, work placement activities, one to one mentoring, career planning etc.

The package of support is tailored to meet individual customer needs, health conditions and personal circumstances.
