TNG, a national welfare to work training organisation helping people from benefits into employment, based in Price Street, in Birkenhead, raised £240 for Comic Relief through a combination of dressing up, sponsored leg waxing and going in the stocks to be pelted with water.

Aaron Huthwaith, 22, from Skegness, was unemployed and with few qualifications and a criminal conviction, his job prospects were bleak. After enrolling with TNG, a welfare to work organisation helping deliver people from benefits into employment, Aaron began volunteering at Parrot Zoo in Dickon Hill Road in Friskney, and found a bit of animal magic gave him the boost he needed to get back to work.

TNG's Tottenham Apprenticeship Scheme
Jake Kyprianou, a 19 year old ex-actor who previously played the role of Joe di Marco (Beppe di Marco’s son) in the popular BBC soap Eastenders, is hoping for a new start as he joins TNG, a welfare to work training provider, as an Advanced Customer Services Apprentice, one of the 22 apprentices working for Avanta/ TNG, as part of its commitment to tackle youth unemployment.

Three years ago, Steve Dawson, 42, from Ipswich, was at his lowest ebb. Following a divorce, he had an alcohol abuse problem and had lost everything - his family, his belongings, his home. Today, with help from TNG, a national welfare to work organisation specialising in helping the hardest to reach back into work, he has turned his life around and is looking forward to the future.
