David was referred to TNG on FND in September 2010, having previously been on the CTF Programme. His first meeting with his Personal Job Adviser quickly established, David’s biggest barrier to work was travel and transport.

He was then introduced to a company called Wheels to Work that provides scooters and mopeds at an affordable rate for weekly rental to individuals who require transport to work.

His Personal Job Adviser assisted David in completing the online application, he received an email confirmation from Wheels to Work soon after David was put through his CBT Test. David successfully passed and TNG assisted him to pay for the deposit at a cost of £45 to secure the bike and he now pays £25 a week rental, which includes tax and insurance.

Through continued support from TNG, David started back at the nursing home in January 2011. His plan for the future is to develop his skills and progress further in his career.
